Join us June 1st for our 1st Saturday Walk & Trolley Ride, & Annual Volunteer Celebration on CT Trails Day

A new adventure to celebrate CT Trails Day! At 10AM, take a walk and free trolley ride, hosted by Shoreline Greenway Trail’s Branford and East Haven Teams and the Shore Line Trolley Museum, then join us for our Annual Volunteer Celebration at the nearby Christ & the Epiphany Church Hall at 12:30PM.

By 10AM, June 1st, Saturday, gather at the Shore Line Trolley Museum with Shoreline Greenway Trail Town co-chairs, Judy Miller and Chet Blomquist for a brief tour of nearly 100 vintage transit vehicles, then board a trolley for a trip along their scenic track to the Farm River.  We will disembark to walk to the site of our proposed bridge across the Farm River, to link our East Haven and Branford Trail sections. On the ride back to the museum we will visit the remains of an old crushing plant.

Immediately upon your return to the Trolley Museum, join us just 3 blocks away  for our Shoreline Greenway Trail Annual Volunteer Celebration and 11th Annual Meeting at 12:30PM at the  Christ & the Epiphany Church, 39 Park Place, East Haven.  Light refreshments will be served.
