Thanks to your support, we are building a glorious trail that will connect the places and people of our Connecticut shoreline towns.
HOW YOU CAN HELP
Since inception, more than 2,500 area families have been contributing to the Trail, and over a hundred of civic organizations, local businesses, foundations, and federal, state and local governments have supported us through generous funding as well. We appreciate your interest and thank you, in advance, for your support.
Every contribution, no matter the size, helps us:
- Plan, design and build Trail sections, bridges and boardwalks
- Install directional and trail etiquette signage, and educational posts along the Trail
- Provide regular maintenance to Trail segments
- Attract major grants
Contributions are tax deductible to the full extent allowed by law. With your donation, you automatically become a contributing member of the Shoreline Greenway Trail.

Give a Gift of Stock/Other Securities
Discover the hidden value in your capital gains. Gifts of stock can sometimes be more advantageous for you than gifts of cash. If the stock has gained in value since you acquired it and you have held it long-term, you may deduct the current fair market value of the stock from your current year’s taxable income and avoid paying the capital gains. Please call our Treasurer, Terry Maguire, at 203-214-4744 for more information.
Bequests
Please consider including a bequest to Shoreline Greenway Trail in your will. For more information, please contact Terry Maguire, our Treasurer at 203-214-4744.
